Their Skies are Beautiful
Bongo Beat

Cinderpop play harmony laden pop as their name implies. Kevan Ellis and Joel Myers intertwined vocals play off each other well. "Bastian Cooper" sounds very British, like Blur mixed with Super Furry Animals. "Midnight" has the band adding heavier sounding guitars, surrendering to a dreampop swoon. The lead vocal is wistful and lovely. "Noon Star" is pretty yet upbeat. The heavier guitars give it a bit of weight.

"Minds Eye" is familiar in that eerie fashion that great songs can be. It's a little bit like Flaming Lips. It's a very nice record.
