Amida
Are You On Fire?
Dufflecoat Records

Amida have released likeable indie rock in the past, and this EP is no exception. Their angular music continues to charm and endear itself to me.

"Uncross your fingers" recalls prime Pavement and yet has its own flavor. "Soft spot for Catholics" is a softer song with sharp words that they carry off well. "Hoods chapel" is a great song with a dynamite guitar part. It's another fine ep by Amida. They are on fire.
