Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti
Worn Copy
Paw Tracks

Is this music? The question poses itself as Ariel Pink attempts to summarize the history of popular music. Recorded in his home on an eight track, it has the attention span of a hyperactive four year old. Frequently the music sounds like a radio that broadcasts two stations at once. Sound quality? Forget it. I'd love to see someone testing their sound equipment with this playing.

This seemingly fragile music sounds so weird even Syd Barrett would flinch. Is this music? I'd say yes and Ariel Pink is saner than he seems. He's just chosen to view the world his way. Through a shattered glass and a distorted radio.
