Cristof Steinmann's solo project is the wistful electronica heard on this album. "Please Confirm the World" drifts by with bird noises, glitchy sounds and a sad vocal. "Moire" starts with an accordion and continues to sound like a small French café at dusk, passersby talking. "Huch" sees a distant voice wander amid hissing noises and rhythmic sounds. We end with "Envers" a sweet number which sees Steimann tap into the chanson tradition only to shatter it into tiny fragments with his modern sounds. It's alive and daring music. This charming album deserves to be heard by many.
