Vessel is Gavin Toomey, his new album is dreamy and abstract. Resist has the sound of walking woven into a mire of sounds. "Torn" is a mid-tempo effort that suggests New Order without the ego and fuss. "Ran" sees the glitch pop style explored to great effect. "My Defender" is equally strong, Toomey creating a melancholy masterpiece through odd noises. Vessel is the work of a gifted artist and I'm sure we'll hear more from him soon.
