Annika Line Tost and Gina V. D'Orio has been Cobra Killer for a while now. For this record they have teamed up with a mandolin orchestra to remake and remodel old songs of theirs. "Heavy Rotation" is now a frantic, but hardly electronic piece of music. "The Stoker" sees the ladies bratty vocals compete with the orchestras agile playing for attention. "High is the Pine" is a ballad of sorts, with the mandolins sounding lovely. New song "Ist es Farbig?" adds a delightful spin on the odd new style. The artless singing and suspenseful backing makes for a great song. In all, it's a resounding success.
