They say techno is good these days. Aardvark's Cult Copy is indeed a good record. But listening to this anywhere but on a dancefloor seems pointless.

The sounds are very computerized, as though Aardvark uses nothing but a program like Reason to make his sounds. I dunno if that's such a good thing. There's every chance Aardvark uses the best equipment in the world, but the sounds are awfully thin sometimes.

But if I were walking around Boone-town and heard something like this playing live I'd certainly go in there.
