Denotts
Denotts Vol. 1
self-released

Denotts are a punk band with a bit of a difference, as they sing both in English and Spanish. The energy that the four piece generate is pretty international though. Singer Leonel Suite has the vocal firepower and plays a mean lead guitar. So you know the deal, no ballads and no filler. "Heaven n Hell" surges past at lightening speed, the drumming by Fernando Minimal being rock solid. "Un Beso y Una Floor" is originally by Nino Brava, who I'm afraid I've not heard of. This high-octane remake must surely be a departure from the original though. Denotts are a strong band with some great songs.
