Can't almost believe it's 20 years since 1986... I chose Hüsker Dü for the last of the '86 "triplets". It could've been others. Like The Go-Betweens' Liberty Belle and the Black Diamond Express, Motörhead's Orgasmatron, R.E.M.'s Life's Rich Pageant, one of the Triffids's brilliant double of the year: Born Sandy Devotional or In the Pines, The Housemartins' London 0 Hull 4, Firehose's Ragin', Full-On, Martin Stephenson & the Daintees' Boat to Bolivia, Sonic Youth's EVOL, Yo La Tengo's Ride The Tiger, the Woodentops' Giant, or... A lot of candidates actually. The 80s wasn't that bad. Or what..?

Mid-90s... Not so far away. Next moonth. 1996. See ya.
