Melody Club

There are too many bands in the world, there are too many records released.

There are too many bands in Norway. There are too many Swedish bands as well. Melody Club got their breakthrough with their single "Palace Station" in 2002. Sort of a catchy ode to the glammy synth-pop of the 1980s. Scream is the follow-up to their debut album Face the Music (2004), and is more of the same: calculated, lame pop, lame lyrics, with focus on styling (hair and clothing). I'm sorry, but this is music giving me nothing at all. It's just irritating, annoying, depressing - making me wanna reach for the revo....uh, stop button. Stop screaming.
