David Garside presents a soulful, sophisticated sound on his new EP, the title song recalls a less arch Divine Comedy seeing Paul McCartney in the lift.

Garside has a great voice and these four numbers hit the spot. The soft "Soulful Numbers" is delightful and sparse. Garside's voice is at its finest. "Someone Else's Someone" ends the EP on a high note, Garside singing over an orchestral backdrop. His new album should be a treat.
