James Hara
Take Us The Foxes
Electric Pig Records

James Hara makes a brief, but wholly wonderful debut with this record. He plays a restrained, imaginative version of folk and has Jose Gonzalez hushed intensity.

"What Will Lie In Wait" is sweetly strummed and showcases the singer's great voice. "Blue Heart Of Mine" is melancholic and still manages to sound positive. Hara keeps focus ven though his songs are short and succinct. "The Light" is stark and demanding, shivering with emotion. "Into The Nest" is a great song, Hara's minimalistic approach coming to the fore. It's an impressive debut all told.
