Fable is a folk group who has been going since 1977, but this is the first I've heard by them. Lead singer John Crafton has a fine voice and pens some
impressive songs.
"Have You Had Enough" is a strong antiwar song with an evocative tune. "Flight 93" looks into the events of nine-eleven with a sobering eye. Crafton sings
with conviction and compassion. "Ghost" is written for Crafton's recently deceased father and it's a moving composition on piano and strings. "The Evening
News" is a sensitive song with a strong melody.
Fable is clearly a fine band and this album is a good listen.
