Juliette Commagère
Queens Die Proudly
Aeronaut

Juliette Commagère was once part of the band Hello Stranger, but has decided to fly solo for now. Her debut is an enchanting, eclectic album.

The opener "Hearts" is an amazingly atmospheric song that relies on Commagère's witchy vocal and an expansive synth backdrop to guide it home. "Your Ghost" is a haunting experience, Commagère using a soft melody to get her point across. Her vocals are supple and the melody lovely. "Wait Until Spring" is sweetly and subtly worming its way into the listener's heart from the first moment. Commagère has a way with these things. "Skyscaper" is wonderfully accomplished, Commagère managing a sublime song. Her solo debut is just fine.
