Silveroot
Big Difference
Silverado Records

I've reviewed Silveroot's debut and am happy to find that their second album is just as good. Songwriter Patrick Flynn has penned more intriguing Americana tracks here.

"Big Difference" is well crafted and sees Flynn's strong vocal shine. "Takin' the fall" is enlivened by the use of Darryl Webb's banjo. Flynn's tale of love gone wrong is persuasive as well. "Brazil" sees guest singer Ilaya swinging nicely alongside Webb. The song is moving and uses the bands dexterity well. "Echoes of Paris" is as romantic as the title implies and Mardell Mardeaux's violin adds the necessary sweetness. It's another track that proves the bands talent and this is what makes this a cool album.
