Amy Fabry
Mutiny of Shadows
Amy Fabry

Amy Fabry's second album is jazzy and has a nice laid-back vibe to it. "Nobody like Jimmy" is sad yet has a persuasive groove. The vocal is sweet and the melody slick. "Girl that you were" is another gem, a sophisticated backing being central in the song being so cool. Fabry's icy cool voice suits this tale of society's pressures on girls. "Menthol" is a charming, mid-pace song with a vocal that mirrors the lyric about a cool girl. Fabry's an exciting singer.

"Gravity's architect" is a lovely song that's like Aimee Mann at her best. Fabry's vocal is as ever cool and committed to her tale. It's a pleasant and very lovely record this one.
