Jason Ayres has a fabulous voice and uses it well on this brief EP. The opening title track sees him let rip to a Coldplay-like melody. "Hold On" is a ballad that Ayres handles well as he sings of perseverance and hope. It has a radio friendly quality to it that should help getting it heard. "There's Always Today" is another song that follows a slow tempo, and it has a sublime vocal. Ayres clearly has a knack for these things. His new EP is a terrific record.
