Josh Shelton fronts alt-country band Rattlehand with confidence on this album. Their sound is rustic and unpolished with plenty of grit.

"You To Do" recalls Whiskeytown and has a great harmonica bit. Shelton's vocals are honest and appealing. "Leavin'" is a great song, with plenty of sass and a tight performance by the band. They really sound like they've been playing together for a long time. "Pike River" is a very traditional sounding song with a great vocal and a hummable tune. "Sunday Night Blues" closes the album on a spirited, yet downcast note. Shelton really nails the end of the weekend mode. It's a great album in all.
