Thisbe Vos is an accomplished jazz singer who pens quite a few songs of her own and performs a few standards on this album. "Under Your Spell" is a ballad worthy of being a standard, Vos singing in a cool way. "That's alright with me" is a soft song rendered with precision and verve by Vos. "Round Midnight" gets a cool reading, one that really puts the emphasis on Vos' lovely voice.

"Always" by Irving Berlin is another hit, a lovely and intimate version that shows Vos' talent for interpretation in a good way. It's a wonderful record all told.
