The Nomads
Solna Loaded Deluxe Edition
Career Records

The Nomads hardly need an introduction, having played together for a long time. This expanded edition of an original album is a sharp and rockin' as ever.

"Hangman's Walk" is super catchy with dynamite guitar parts and a charged lead vocal. "The Bad Times Will Do Me Good" is a fuzzy treat, the band staying close to Blue Öyster Cult's dark lyrical concerns. "American Slang" is a cover of a song by Jack Oblivian and it's their usual high-octane power that gets them to the heart of the song. "Get Out of My Mind" closes the proceedings well. The vocal is as strong as it ever was. The Nomads are still at the top of their game.
