Gaia Consort
Gaia Circles
own label

Gaia Consort call themselves a "Pagan Group that plays music that celebrates the Living Earth". I was not quite sure what this really means (Music for neo-pagans, wiccans, witches, Gaians, polyamorists, - all who dream of building earth centered sustainable culture) but having given this CD a healthy workout on my CD player I can con-firm that this is absolutely overwhelming album full of lively melody and fantastic ballads in jazzy/acoustic arrangements.

Sue Tinney's voice is a vibrant echo of Tracy Chapman's powerful vibes while Christopher Bingham could have easily been a member of the best-period Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young or America. Amazingly good vibrations from Seattle.
