The Bigger Lovers
How I Learned To Stop Worrying
Black Dog Records

Power pop today is a problem. To many bands and albums get labeled with power pop and few of them lives up to the expectations of what power pop means for me. I want Big Star, Beach Boys and harmonies with handclaps.

Bigger Lovers kives up to my demands. This is pop at its finest. With one foot in the 70's American pop and the other in Scottish guitar pop a la Teenage Fanclub. The Philadelphia based Bigger Lovers make me stop worrying about the pop future. Ballads mixed with faster songs, everything is on this record.

For all Beach Boys fanatics out there listen to the song I'm Here. The best Beach Boys song that Beach Boys never wrote.
