Julie Doiron
Will You Still Love Me?
Tree Records

Will You Still Love Me?, the third album from former Eric's Trip bassist Julie Doiron is marvellous. In the same vein as her last album, Loneliest in the Morning, the five song EP is filled with beautiful, acoustic tales of loneliness, regret, and longing.

The beauty of the album lies in Julie's vocals. Her hushed and simple vocal delivery allows listeners to gain a brief, intimate look into the world she describes. The quiet acoustic instrumentation provided by her, Dave Draves and The Wooden Stars' Julien Beillard helps transform Julie's words into innocent and touching songs. The only downside of this album is that we are only given five songs and eighteen minutes of music. It would have been a great blessing to have been presented with more.

Julie's songs are perfect for those long, lonely nights spent reminiscing about the past and dreaming about the future. Fans can expect more new material to surface in the fall in Canada and in early January in the United States.
